A room with a view

Our house is... well its interesting. Super nice and one of the biggest that we have ever lived in. It is kind of oddly shaped and the walls are made of metal (You would never know to look at them but it is fun for magnet purposes, and funny to have to yell over the rain every afternoon when it lash's). It reminds me a lot of my grandparents house in Ireland. It was prefabbed in Australia and then shipped here to East Timor. I plan on putting a lot more pictures up after we receive all of our "stuff" but for now I have to say my favorite thing about our house is the view from the front room. The front of our house is almost entirely windows. They look out onto our HUGE wrap around deck, then beyond to our long driveway, guard house, huge electric gate and then this:

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I think i am going to love it here. (Maren I love your "what I love about my house" posts. Pretty sure this view and our deck are the only things that can hold a candle to your awesome old house!)

Kelly, Thanks so much for putting this up so soon. I just keep thinking "THE ADVENTURE CONTINUES" since it has been one adventure after another since you and Chris married. Rick tells me you love Chichi (who wouldn't!)

I think I would trade my old house for a view like that! It is amazing! Metal walls sound so interesting, and your porch is probably great. I just can't wait to see more of your house.

Amazing Kelly! I can't believe you are in a house already! What, did you get off the plane and they took you right to your house? Talk about nice after all that traveling! I would have loved to see your faces first thing in the morning when you looked out at that view for the first time.

I love the idea of metal walls. That is really cool since we are a magnet mania family.
